APMA Advisory Board

Our advisory board of industry leaders consults and collaborates with the APMA to determine minimum course content and standards, monitors current research in Prenatal Massage, and guides current practice standards and ethics.

Dr. Cheryl Frye

Dr. Cheryl FryeDr. Frye is a Professor of Psychology at the State University of New York at Albany and sits on the grant review board for the National Institutes of Health. At SUNY–Albany, she runs The Frye Lab, where her research program focuses on determining how steroid hormones work in the brain to influence behavior.

Tiffany Blackden, CMT

Tiffany Blackden, CMTTiffany co-owns GTS Therapeutics-Massage in Fort Collins, CO with her husband. She graduated from massage school with advanced training in pregnancy massage, and since has received additional certification in prenatal massage, labor support, doula training, and childbirth education.
