Description: Stone (geothermal) therapy is a remarkable modality that can be applied to pregnancy massage with proper advanced training. This course is designed for the experienced Geothermal Therapy Practitioner.
The supposition of this course is that the pregnant client has no serious health issues and is enjoying a healthy and normal pregnancy. You will be taught how to offer the safest form of Geothermal Therapy to the healthy pregnant client. Subjects include:

• Overview of pregnancy contraindications for massage
• Recommended techniques for pregnancy massage
• How to safely use stones in pregnancy massage
• Suggested geothermal therapy techniques for first, second, and third trimester
• Hands on practical
• Independent Study

The minimum prerequisite for this course is Stone Medicine Level 1 or Original Body by LaStone Therapy. A general understanding of the effects of temperature on a healthy adult body is required. During this course all professional sanitation and hygiene standards as set forth.
